I can't change my screen brightness.

after the new windows, 10 April update my brightness is stuck i cant change. I tried to change it to Microsoft basic adapter but when I did that the brightness slider I could change but the brightness was still stuck

one more thing when I went to device manger and then to device adapter I could see that it was in eror code(43).
