Hello,
I am getting frequent BSOD and system crashes when trying to use the Blender One API GPU Cycles Render device on my new Intel Arc A770.
I'm using Blender 4.1.1 and the Intel Arc Driver version is 31.0.101.5522
My motherboard is a Z790i with 64GB of ram.
The combination of this driver and Blender 4.1.1 is extremely buggy if you're trying to use the GPU as a Cycles render device. The CPU render device works ok, but stability could still be improved.
Can you recommend the most stable versions of Blender and the Intel Arc driver for GPU Cycles rendering?

With odd issues in both Blender 4.1.1 and Blender 3.6.12, I have rolled back to 3.3 LTS and have my fingers crossed yet again...
The hardware seems performant enough, but perhaps the drivers and compatibility are still lagging.

I just downgraded to 31.0.101.5445 and it seems to be waaaaaaay more stable. Fingers crossed.
I would love to see this stability in the latest drivers... Unclear why 31.0.101.5522 would be so much more buggy.
I hope this helps people (including myself) trying to work in Blender out there!
Blender did just crash as I took the attached screen shot. It rendered ~150 frames pretty well before dying.
More testing!

3.3 and 31.0.101.5522 is a winning combination for now.
Tomorrow, we try to render some cities again. Fingers crossed...
