Windows has Intel Graphics Software that allows you to configure fan speed, but on Linux I do not know how to configure it. I have linux kernel 6.12.25 in Debian Sid. By default, fans are turned off, and when graphical application heats up GPU to 90 degrees, it shuts down and display image disappears. Why package in APT repos `intel-microcode` doesn't have default settings for GPU fan speeds? Why fans turn off by default?
For more than a year now, it has been dangerous to use Intel Arc videocard on Linux, because with such frequent crashes, silicon gpu degrades.

It has not been decided yet, more than a year has passed.
