i've downloaded windows 10 and update the graphic driver to the latest one 15.40.4.64.4256 ..
but the graphic card stopped working properly and when i checked the details about my hardware support for directX it appear that its still on 11.2 not 12.. without doing anything there is a notification comes and say " Intel HD 4600 has stopped working and been recovered "..
and when i open a game a blue screen come with error message inside "the pc ran into an error VDR-TDR-FAILURE igdkmd64.sys"..
can anyone help me to solve this problem??

Can You please post some more information regarding the game You've tried to play?
Also please post more details regarding Your computer. A DxDiag report would be good

The driver reported by the DxDiag log You've attached tells that You have an incorrect driver installed 10.18.14.4251 (this is a driver for Windows 8.1, not Windows 10)
That's also a reason why You can't see DX12 support
Please uninstall it and install a new one from https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25150/Intel-Iris-Iris-Pro-and-HD-Graphics-Production-Driver-for-Windows-10-64-bit Intel® Download Center 4256

No your screenshot looks correct. It supports Dx12 as you can see on the runtime. To be exact Directx12 at feature level 11_1. Run the dx12 feature test from 3dmark and you will see it works.

I'm having the exact same problem with this driver model. This is a joke, my graphics card crashes by even running Toshiba PC Health Monitor. let alone play any games.
I've tried about everything I could find online, re-installed multiple times the drivers but no dice.
I haven't rollback to Windows 8.1 because I've been slightly busy and hoping they fix it but I guess I have no choice until they clean up this mess.

Good luck man
I'll probably wait a day or two to see if we get any updates from Intel, otherwise it's back to 8.1 too.

Hello Cybuster,
You have a switchable Gfx solution. The driver You have installed for Intel Gfx is a generic type which means it is not designed to work in a system of 2 different Gfx cards - the best solution at this point would be to disable one of the cards in the device manager and wait for the OEM to release a driver with a support for Windows 10 and switchable graphics solution

ok he has 2 cards and me whats the problem ???
i have only Intel Hd 4600 nothing else..
and Intel released that 4256 driver to support windows 10 and directX 12 ..
if you say my graphic card is faulty.. then i'll say it works perfect on windows 8.1 with 4251 driver..
SOLUTION IS??

Thanks for taking your time to help us out, Filip.
I do believe the problem lies in Intel though. I've done what you suggested and if I disable my AMD gfx card the problem continues, if I disable the Intel one I don't get anymore the problem but my laptop won't be able to run properly games without a massive unplayable slowdown.
When I first went to Windows 10 I had constant BSoD possibly due AMD/Windows update recognizing my AMD gfx card wrong, 2 days later Windows Update was able to download properly my drivers but now Intel keeps crashing and recovering.
