Intel HD Graphics Driver does not work in Windows 7 Home Basic

I have tried to install the windows 7 driver from https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/products/sku/80796/intel-pentium-processor-g3240-3m-cache-3-10-ghz/downloads.htmlere. The first time around Windows would not install it, saying ' Windows requires a digitally signed driver'. I had to disable Windows' driver signature enforcement by running the command 'bcdedit /set TESTSIGNING ON '  I ran the installation again and it went fine. Windows would now prompt me if I wanted to install an unsigned driver. I selected the appropriate option to let the driver install, rebooted and immediately saw that my screen resolution was wrong and that everything is still like before. I then ran this command ' bcdedit.exe /set nointegritychecks on', rebooted and tried again. Same result. I still have no working video driver.
