Are there any drivers for windows 8 that support older versions of openGL (like openGL 1.4) for ivy bridge HD graphics? Latest drivers don't seem to work. Help please!

I understand you need information about OpenGL support.
Ivybridge graphics controllers support up to version 4.0, the latest video driver version 3345 come with support for OpenGL 4.0
Here is the link for the latest video drivers https://downloadcenter.intel.com/SearchResult.aspx?lang=eng&ProductFamily=Graphics&ProductLine=Laptop+graphics+drivers&ProductProduct=3rd+Generation+Intel%C2%AE+Core%E2%84%A2+Processors+with+Intel%C2%AE+HD+Graphics+4000&ProdId=3712&LineId=1101&FamilyId=39 https://downloadcenter.intel.com/SearchResult.aspx?lang=eng&ProductFamily=Graphics&ProductLine=Laptop+graphics+drivers&ProductProduct=3rd+Generation+Intel%C2%AE+Core%E2%84%A2+Processors+with+Intel%C2%AE+HD+Graphics+4000&ProdId=3712&LineId=1101&FamilyId=39

Hi, Alan, thanks for answering. As you said, controllers do support openGL up to 4.0. However, the latest drivers don't seem to work with some applications that require older versions of openGL (for example, some older games like Medal Of Honor, requires openGL 1.4, won't run with new drivers). I have tried basic drivers that windows installs automatically, and the game runs, but at very low fps as expected, so i think there might be a problem with new drivers and older openGL apps. My question is: is it possible that with newer drivers, support for older openGL was somehow dropped? And, are there any drivers that have support for older openGL?
Mirko.
