Laptop: LG Gram 16" 16T90P w/Thunderbolt 4 Ports
Graphics: Iris XE on Window 11 Build 22000
Monitor: SAMSUNG CH890 Series 34-Inch Ultrawide QHD
Hi all - thanks for any assistance. Laptop will not recognize monitor using TB 4 ports. Charging through TB4 is fine but get message that display connectivity might be limited when connecting cable.
Had same issue 3 months ago but reinstalled graphics driver and all seemed fine. Now issue is back and reinstalling (clean install) XE driver does not seem to resolve. Cable is TB 4 certified.
Any thoughts? Thanks again.

Hello Ridgeiac,
Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities. I understand you are having issues with your laptop.
In order to better assist you, please provide the following:
1. Run the Intel® System Support Utility (Intel® SSU) to gather more details about the system.
- Download the Intel® SSU and save the application on your computer: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/18377/intel-system-support-utility-for-windows.html
- Open the application, check the "Everything" checkbox, and click "Scan" to see the system and device information. The Intel® SSU defaults to the "Summary View" on the output screen following the scan. Click the menu where it says "Summary" to change to "Detailed View".
- To save your scan, click Next and click Save.
2. Provide the Report for Intel® Graphics Drivers:
3. Can you share a picture of the laptop alert?
4. Were the configuration working before?
5. Do you get any display after the "laptop alert" or not at all?
Regards,
Deivid A.

Hello Ridgeiac,
Thanks for the reports and the information provided. Based on this issue, I would like you to try the following:
1. Try with a different TV and/or monitor
2. Try with a different Display port cable or port. If possible, try with an HDMI cable (Do not use an adapter, only a straight connection).
3. Update your Intel graphics drivers:
- Driver: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/19344/intel-graphics-windows-dch-drivers.html
- Steps: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000057389.html
4. Check with LG to confirm if the SAMSUNG monitor is compatible with their unit.
5. Test the SAMSUNG monitor with a different laptop or desktop computer.
Regards,
Deivid A.
