Description

Provide a detailed description of the issue

In some applications there is a vertical offset between the cursor position and the mouse click and motion events (attached GIF example). The problem only appears when the application is started with the Intel(R) HD Graphics card, and disappears when the application is forced to use the NVIDIA graphics card. This GitHub issue https://github.com/godotengine/godot/issues/8902 https://github.com/godotengine/godot/issues/8902 suggests that the problem does not appear with older driver versions.

Hello j.dehesa,

Thank you for joining our Intel ® Community.

We are currently working on the issue replication of your issue.

We noticed that you are running an older version (21.20.16.4664) of the OEM driver for your system, have you tried to run the latest driver (23.20.16.4973) from Dell*?

https://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/04/drivers/driversdetails?driverId=10X01 Here is the link for you to test it.

I hope this helps.

Regards,

Hello Diego,

Thank you for your answer, the updated driver does indeed fix the issue. I should just add that I did check for updates with Intel and Dell updating tools, and in both cases it was indicated that my drivers were up to date (I do not know who is responsible for this really). In any case, it is fixed now, so it is fine.

Best,

Javier
