I think you mean:

"15.36.18.4156"

I really hope this fixes our Adobe Acrobat and Internet Explorer crashes in module igd10iumd32.dll.

So there is still no fix for the black borders/scaling issue? I haven't been able to game since January.

Also, link appears to be broken.

BUG REPORT

Same bugs reported for previous drivers v4080

Using latest MadShaders v0.4.0 from here http://www.geeks3d.com/wp-content/plugins/download-monitor/download.php?id=430 http://www.geeks3d.com/wp-content/plugins/download-monitor/download.php?id=430 and drivers v.4156, there are 2 buggy demos:

1) Bokeh blur (completely corrupted image)

2) Mobius balls (a ball is missing from the centre of the image)

Both look good on Nvidia OpenGL driver.

Okay, so I updated using the link but then Intel Update Utility reported this after I finished installing the update. Which is the correct driver update?

P.S

Driver update still has the black border issues.

@ NikosD, Thank you for the bug report, we are investigating the issues.

@ Jelmazmo , 10.8.14.4156 is the latest version. The driver update utility tends to lag a day or two as it's database is updated. We are aware of the black border issue and are working on a resolution.

Thanks

Hello

I recently purchased a pentium g3258.

I chose the pentium over an amd because I believe with the hd graphics, there is hardware accelerated 4k h264 decoding, however upon running dxva checker, this doesn't seem to be the case.

H264_VLD_NoFGT: DXVA2/D3D11, SD / HD / FHD

attempting to playback 4k h264 videos results in high cpu usage or dropped frames for high bit rate videos.

Using the Intel Driver update utility it tells me I have the driver version 15.33.32.64.4061 and it's the latest although 15.36 is the latest.

I am running windows 10 technical preview, I want to update the driver to see if this maybe the fault.

NikosD on the doom9 forums found on his pentium g3240 with the same HD graphics back in June 2014 that 4k QFHD H264 decode had been disabled.

Link to his post

http://forum.doom9.org/showpost.php?p=1685352&postcount=267 http://forum.doom9.org/showpost.php?p=1685352&postcount=267

I hope that Intel hasn't deliberately disabled hardware QFHD decode on the HD Graphics on pentium and celeron processors.

Is it possible to roll back to an older driver version with the functionality?

g3258 cant even run 1440p smothly. 2160p (4k) i think is too much.

Its a terrible dual core for 2015, i think noone should buy a dual core... even for simple browsing. i see it in high loads a lot even when idle with antivirus in bg. /offtopic

Anyway i still have problems with g3258 driver crashing very often in http://www.arcgames.com/en/games/forsaken-world forsaken world didnt try other games so idk if others have the same issues. (win 8.1 x64, latest version driver). Somehow v15.33.22.64.3621 doesnt crash. So i think there is a problem with the driver and not with the game.

Any ideas how to resolve this issue on Windows 10, Build 9926, I've tried updating via Windows Update, Intel Driver Update Utility and manually without any success.

The same bug still occure in this version:

- The display scaling option is broken.

Step to reproduce, assuming native monitor 1080p.

1. set desktop resolution to non-native.

2. now the display scaling should be able to be selected, choose stretch full.

3. set resolution to 1080p. The display scaling will be reset back to maintain aspect ratio.

4. Play game on non-native resolution, the game will appear small in the middle with black borders.

This problem did not occur if i use the titanfall beta driver (sorry i forgot the version number).

Workaround:

1. set desktop resolution to non-native.

2. now the display scaling should be able to be selected, choose stretch full.

3. Play game on non-native resolution, the game will appear full screen.

EDIT:

forgot to mention the system spec

Windows 8.1

Vaio Tap 11

Intel GMA 4200

Intel Core i5 4210Y

Actually this driver lowered my 3dmark11 result a bit compared to the previous 4080.

Hello Robert,

Latest driver still lacks support of 3840x2160 @ 60Hz on my monitor with DP1.2 (MST). Regression, since earlier drivers did support? When running in 3840x2160 @ 30Hz mode (DP 1.1a) and enbaling DP1.2 on monitor, the refresh rate is not raised to 60 Hz whilst keeping the 4k resolution (as expected) but mode changes to 1920x2160 @ 60HZ... but then the dispay driver mistakenly sees two monitor displays connected (which are not).

Will you investigate this error? I am running Windows 10 TP build 10041 on a GigaByte Brix Pro with I7-4770R (Iris Pro 5200) and have a Dell 4k monitor (model UP2414Q).

Thanks,

Maarten

For the folks posting with issues in Windows 10 TP.

This driver is not a Windows 10 TP driver. It is not intended to be used on Windows 10 TP and no validation was done with it on Windows 10 TP. Currently the only method for driver updates for Windows 10 TP is through Windows Update.

Thanks

Dear Robert,

Thanks for your reply.

Problem is I did NOT install this driver myself, but it came through Windows TP update (!!). There seems no option to block/stop Windows TP updates installing this driver.

So why is Microsoft distributing latest drivers through Windows 10 update that are not meant to be?

What would you suggest/advise?

Kind regards,

Maarten

BUG_REPORT

There is a problem with P010/P016 output using this driver v.4156, which was reported for 4080 too and hasn't been resolved yet.

I tried both H.264 and H.265 10bit video files and don't work using MPC-HC video player (LAV filters)

The problem seems to be that EVR tries to accept a 10-bit/16-bit input, but it fails at it, resulting in overall playback failure.

Can you take a look ?

Thanks!

@ NikosD

Could you post the DXDiag report for the system you used to find the 2 bug reported above? Any other specifics on system and replication procedure would be helpful as well.

Thanks

Robert

BUG_REPORT

It seems that new driver v.4156, broke the HW deinterlacing modes introduced with API v1.13 and the DeinterlacingMode enumerator and it can't be used anymore.

Thanks.
