A few days ago I updated to the new drivers released by Intel for the HD 4000 series - v3960.
Today, Windows Update (Windows 8.1, 64-bit) offered me an update to 3977, which is now installed.
Are there any release notes for this driver? I note that it still hasn't fixed (for me) the small-centred-image-with-black-borders issue in DirectX 10/11 drivers which I was still seeing with v3960, but that's not a surprise since this version was presumably finished several days ago anyway...

The driver you provided us on your post, diver V10.18.10.3977 is an OEM driver; therefore it will be necessary to contact the system manufacture in order to get additional information from it.

Wrong. Latest on Intels site is build 3960: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?DwnldID=24348 Intel® Download Center
And build 3977 isn't an OEM driver.
