Hello Ungrazed,
Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities.
Please run the following tool and attach the reports generated.
1. Intel® System Support Utility (Intel® SSU)
- Intel® SSU Download link
- Open the application and click on "Scan" to see the system and device information. By default, Intel® SSU will take you to the "Summary View".
- Click on the menu where it says "Summary" to change to "Detailed View".
- To save your scan, click on "Next", then "Save".
Intel® Graphics Command Center report.
- Open Intel® Graphics Command Center.
- Click on support.
- Click on the tab System Diagnostic.
- Generate report.
- Save the file.
- Upload the file to the thread.
Questions:
- Are you trying to change the resolution on an external display(in case you do please generate the report above with monitor connected)? or Are you trying to change the resolution in the built-in display?
- In case you are using an external monitor is it straight connected? (HDMI to HDMI no adapters/docking stations)
- What is the resolution and refresh rate you are trying to get?
Best regards,
Adrian M.
