Out of date Intel Graphics driver doesn't register being out of date

Hi everyone, I have a Toshiba Satellite with an Intel Pentium N3530. I recently noticed some issues with an app I was running, and when I checked in with their forums they suggested checking my drivers. So I downloaded the Intel Update Utility, which told me my graphics driver was a 'customized computer manufacturer' driver and couldn't be updated through the program. SO I checked the driver and found out, that contrary to the Intel message, it was indeed an Intel driver, more specifically Intel HD Graphics. checking the driver date, I found that it was a version from 1/20/2014. I attempted to use the Windows Updater to find the driver automatically, and it came back with an 'up to date' result. I then searched it on Intel's website, and was brought to https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/24971/Intel-HD-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-7-8-8-1-64-bithttp:// https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/24971/Intel-HD-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-7-8-8-1-64-bithttp:// this page. I downloaded the exe, ran the manual driver search, couldn't find it, got the 'up to date' message again. Downloaded the zip, ran the search again, still couldn't find it. Don't know what to do next. Any solutions?

You can try installing our generic driver:

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/24329 https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/24329

However be aware that these are generic drivers with no specific OEM customization's. Since your system is a laptop it likely has customization's to the driver made by the manufacturer of the system. If you install the generic driver you will loose the customization's and the system may not work as intended. Since it is a laptop it is recommend you use the latest drivers supplied by the manufacturer.

If you want to try the generic driver I would recommend you set a restore point before updating the driver. Download the zip version of the drive and extract to a folder on your desktop. To force install the generic driver, follow the guide below at step # 4.

Also forgot to mention the .exe comes up with 'does not meet minimum requirements' message.
