Unable to downgrade graphics drivers due to 12th gen processor

I'm running into visual bugs when trying to play minecraft 1.7.10. I've heard these are caused by recent graphics driver updates. The solution I've found everywhere is to downgrade your drivers to 30.0.100.9955 (released October 2021). Problem is, my 12 gen processor isn't compatible with drivers that old. I've tried the everything from the newest drivers to the oldest ones I can run and nothing has fixed it.

Is my laptop just too new to run old minecraft versions?

Specs:

Windows 11

12th Gen Intel Core i7-1260P

Intel Iris Xe Graphics
