Hello,

What about a having a section of this forum or an equivalent mechanism (tag, label, ...) dedicated to Linux ? Would it help ?

Best regards

What we can do is have 2.9% of the forum dedicated to linux, the same as the marketshare.  How about that?

Even using the latest Desktop share numbers (up to 4.03% for February), this still doesn't reach a level where dedication of resources makes *any* kind of sense. Worse, considering that this share is spread across hundreds of distros and some level of speciality is often required for support on a distro-by-distro basis, it makes even less sense.
Off my soapbox now...

My experience with Intel graphic and Linux has been the following one: I installed hundred of various kinds of Intel graphic powered NUCs with many Debian flavours and I never had any single issue doing so,  either during installation or after.

So when I first met an issue I asked for guidance in various Debian communities though I got some useful response from it, I had the feeling the people within these communities have more experience in issues with NVidia or AMD graphic stacks than with the Intel  one, myabe because the latter one works better out of the box.

That's the reason why I wonder what could be the best mean (forum, wiki, ...) place for Linux users to help each other when habving an issue with Intel graphic.

With recent Xe driver availability with Linux 6.8, this question may become more accurate.

Thanks for all for taking time to reply.
