It's been eight months since Intel didn't roll out any driver update for the 4th gen users. Did Intel leave out the 4th gen chips?
They provide all the primitive updates for other gen chips not lower than 5th gen chips, why is that?

Because the 4th gen processors are discontinued.

Hello everybody
Thank you for posting in the Intel Community.
I can confirm to you that most of Intel's development, enhancements and fixes are mostly oriented to 6th Generation processors (known as Skylake) and newer.
Driver releases for 5th Generation processors and older might still occur, however it would be on a much slower cadence.
