Will Intel's discrete GPU compete with AMD/Nvidia?

Hello everyone,,

What is the current understanding of this new discrete GPU, will it be a specialized https://showbox.bio/ niche GPU for things like AI, a CPU coprocessor or will it be a full functioned GPU aimed at competing with AMD/Nvidia's mainstream GPU lines like Vega, GeForce 20 series or Navi?
