Will the Graphics 620 support a single 4K monitor

I'm currently planning/hoping to set up my ThinkPad X1 carbon with dual 2560x1080 monitors (27").  However, if that's not possible, another option would be a larger, single 4K monitor (32", 43").  My primary objective is to increase my working screen space, while increasing image sharpness.  The majority of my work is with WORD, EXCEL, Outlook and internet.  I do not plan to use this for watching video or gaming. 

My computer specs are:

i7-8650u CPU @ 1.9GHz 2.11GHz

16.0 GB RAM

64-bit operating system, x62-based processor

Based on the processor's datasheet, the Intel® UHD Graphics 620 supports up to 3 displays and these are the resolutions you could get depending on the type of memory used in your computer.

Page 41-42.

According to

, the memory type is LPDDR3 2133 MHz. So, in theory you could set 3840 x 2160 in the three displays(Hz will depend on the source of the video) the eDP and two externals. Remember that the eDP will be the ThinkPad's display.

Regarding the 4K display, you can set 4096 x 2304 @60Hz and 4096 x 2304 @24Hz depending on the video source.

The details mentioned before are based on the information from our end, but before you buy anything, you need to check with Lenovo's support. Computer manufacturers can limit and customize these features and they may not be available in your specific computer model, this is why you need to check with them.
