can't seem to get max resolution

I recently bought the same computer used at my office (Philips 346P1CRH/75)
with hopes to use the same resolution at the office - 3440 x 1440.

However, I'm unable to increase past 2560 x 1080 for some reason.

I'm using the same computer (surface pro 6) and HDMI cable to connect to the monitor at the office.

I've updated the drivers to the best of my knowledge and would highly appreciate some help!

Thank you

This is usually caused by a bad HDMI cable (poor/failing shielding, etc.). Are you using the HDMI cable from the office or one that came from another source?
I find that most cables provided with monitors are absolute crap. Purchase yourself a good quality, HDMI 2.0 compliant cable.
Hope this helps,
