Hey,
Sorry to hear you are dealing with this - a freeze at the login screen every single boot is definitely not something you should have to put up with, and we want to help get this sorted out for you.
Based on what you have shared, it sounds like the Intel Graphics Driver 32.0.101.8974 may be interfering with your Wi-Fi driver right at startup, which is causing the connection to drop and the system to freeze before you even get in. We want to make sure we fully understand what is happening on your end before pointing you in the right direction.
Could you help us with a few quick questions:
- Did this start right after installing or updating to the Intel Graphics Driver 32.0.101.8974, or did it begin happening on its own at some point?
- When the system freezes at the login screen, is it a complete hard lock where nothing responds, or does it recover on its own after a while?
- Have you tried rolling back the graphics driver at all to see if the issue goes away?
- Do you know which specific Wi-Fi adapter is on your B650 Gaming Plus WIFI board? This could be really important in identifying whether there is a direct conflict between the two drivers.
The more detail you can share, the better we can assist. And if anyone else in the community has come across this on a similar build, please do chime in - your experience could really help here.
We are here and happy to help, just let us know!

- When the system freezes at the login screen, is it a complete hard lock where nothing responds, or does it recover on its own after a while?/ it is a complete hard lock. i was curious to see if it would remedy itself and left it on for several hours on separate occasions with no luck.
- Have you tried rolling back the graphics driver at all to see if the issue goes away?/ rolling back to the previous driver immediately solved the issue.
- Do you know which specific Wi-Fi adapter is on your B650 Gaming Plus WIFI board? This could be really important in identifying whether there is a direct conflict between the two drivers./ MediaTek, Inc. Version3.5.2.1383 is the driver. rz616 wifi 6e160mhz is the name of the device associated
