I picked up a used 20 inch tv to use as my monitor. When I plugged it in to my desktop, using an HDMI cable, it doesn't fit within the frame. Windows support directed me to uninstall my driver and reinstall. I did not uninstall, rather came to see if there were updates. My driver version is 9.17.10.4459 It indicated that there were no updates supported on my system. Is there any way of adjusting the area of my monitor manually? Do you think uninstalling and reinstalling will prove to work? Thanks

You have an overscan issue. Check the monitor setup for display settings, somethine like "native" or "natural".

Thanks for the response. I went and bought a new monitor. That one is going for donation. Was pretty old.
