I have a BOE NE160QAM-NZ1 LCD panel (3840*2400 @120HZ Frame Rate) connected to the Sparkle Intel® Arc™ A750 ORC using an eDP-to-DP PCB board.
It works well on Linux systems like Ubuntu23.10 and Fedora39 @3840*2400 120HZ.
It could work on Win10/11 with Microsoft basic display driver @3840*2400 but low refresh rate.
When installing the Win10/11 Arc graphics driver, the BOE panel will turn all black and keep no display at this step:
Installing'C:\Users\jeremy\AppData\Local\Temp\7zS0A322136\Graphics_101.5330\iigd_dch_d.inf'
After reboot and using another screen connected, the Arc driver installed well but reconnect the BOE panel still no display.
Windows shows 'Display 1 (BOE NE160QAM-NZ1) isn't active.
Arc Control shows only the other one screen detected.
This only happens on Win10/11 I tried with recent 3~5 versions of Arc drivers installed. On Linux all work fine.
Is the Arc Windows graphics driver not compatible with BOE NE160QAM-NZ1 or any way else to solve it? UHD630 of i5-13400 also not work with BOE NE160QAM-NZ1.
Could Intel make BOE NE160QAM-NZ1 compatible in next gpu driver versions? Thanks.

This issue doesn't appear to be isolated, as there are similar reports from other users experiencing black screens when installing the Arc graphics driver.
The problem might be due to the driver not fully supporting the BOE panel's specifications or a conflict with the system's configuration. It's also noted that the UHD630 integrated graphics of the i5-13400 processor is not working with the BOE panel, which could indicate a broader compatibility issue
hmmm, In the meantime, you could try the following steps to troubleshoot the issue:
1.
Use the Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) to remove any existing graphics drivers completely and then attempt to reinstall the Arc driver
2.
Check for any BIOS updates for your motherboard, as these can sometimes resolve compatibility issues.
3.
Try using different versions of the Arc driver, if available, to see if an older version might work with the BOE panel.
Remember to always create a system restore point before making changes to your drivers or BIOS to ensure you can revert to a previous state if needed.
hope this proves to be helpful to you.
Cheers,
Max
