BUG: ArcControl ignores Windows region, hard-coded to use the archaic obscure format MM/DD/YYYY

ArcControl ignores Windows region settings and displays dates in MM/DD/YYYY format, an archaic format used by only a handful of countries: United States, Vatican City, the Philippines, Kenya, Canada, Panama, Ghana, Togo, Puerto Rico, Micronesia, and Greenland.

This is very distressing, please update the app to not confuse people.

If you have to hard-code a date format always choose YYYY/MM/DD, it's not ambiguous for 12 days a month.

Hello steggles,

Thank you for posting in the Intel communities. We understand that having the date format set in a default way without the possibility for users to change it may be distressing for some users. We want to let you know that we have passed the feedback to the appropriate team so they can take a look at it. Unfortunately, we can't guarantee anything and can't commit to any update or outcome.

Let us know if you have any other questions.

Best regards,

Jean O.

Hi Jean

Great to hear Intel understands MM/DD/YYYY causes its customers distress. Is there  a ticket number I can track the feedback you've sent to the appropriate team?

Thanks

Steggles

Hello steggles,

Unfortunately, this is an internal process, and there is no option to track it. We only share the feedback with the appropriate team, and we can't promise any outcome.

Best regards,
