The game Burnout Paradise Remastered by EA Games / Criterion crashes during the playing of the introduction video (after selecting Enter Paradise City). You can grab the game off the EA.

I have an Intel Nuc 12 Enthusiast mini pc that has an Arc a770m graphics card, 32gb ram, 1tb m.2 storage. I am running Windows 11 23H2.

Driver: 31.0.101.5333 (latest WHQL from Intel)

Application Name: Burnout Paradise Remastered
Store: EA Windows Store App
SSU Report: Attached to this post

Steps to produce the error: Just launch the game, select Enter Paradise City, the introduction video starts, but then freezes and the game crashes out

So i worked out that having HDR enabled in Windows 11 display settings causes the crash for some reason. If you turn off HDR, so going back to SDR for colour space, the video played at the introduction works fine and the game no longer crashes.

Just disabling AutoHDR per game doesn't seem to fix it, you have to disable HDR mode in the display settings.

Not sure if that's an Intel driver bug or a game bug that EA need to resolve with Burnout Paradise Remastered.

The older Burnout Paradise Directx 9 version would play the Video with HDR mode, but would crash just after when trying to make the drivers license after the introduction video.

Anyway, there's a workaround for anyone that wants to know
