Dark boxes around buildings graphical glitch Far Cry 3 AND Far Cry 4 (both Ubisoft Connect)

Far Cry 3 and 4 have a strange dark box glitch around buildings.

In Far Cry 3 these appear in Direct X 11, but not Direct X 9.

You can't change Direct X in Far Cry 4, it's also Direct X 11.

No amount of changing graphical settings resolves the problem.

I am using the current driver (31.0.101.4369). 

I am running Windows 11, using an A750 and have included an SSU report and a video of the issue.

Based on my experience, this should be very easy to replicate in the lab. Considering that these games are in the same engine, it is likely that Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon and Far Cry Primal have similar issues but I haven't checked those.

I am not the most technical minded so hope this helps!

Seriously, I have tried every combination of graphical settings possible in both and the issues always remains.

Thank you for posting on the Intel️® communities. I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues with the Intel® Arc™ A750 Graphics

In order to have a better understanding of your issue, please provide me with the following:

• Which game distribution service you used to install the game? (Blizzard, Epic, Origin, Steam, Xbox, Ubisoft connect, Microsoft Store)
• Is Resizable BAR enabled in your BIOS?

Regarding this issue, we would like to recommend running the Display Driver Uninstaller. Check How to Use the Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) to Uninstall an Intel® Graphics Driver for instructions. Once you run the tool, you should install the latest driver from Intel 31.0.101.4502. The DDU tool will eliminate all drivers and leftover files from previous driver versions.

Hi Jean!

Both Far Cry 3 and 4 are on Ubisoft Connect and resizeable bar is enabled on my bios.

I downloaded Display Driver Uninstaller, uninstalled the old driver and installed 31.0.101.4502

The issue with the dark boxes is still presenting.
