Fc 25 Black Screen at Half time. Intel arc B580

Recently Bought an Intel arc B580. Previously owned a r9 380. I could play fc 25 on that no issues.. I bought The Gpu reinstalled fresh windows. But When I try to play A match in fc 25. My screen goes black at half time and doesn't load the 2nd half. And I have to Totally close the game.. It happens every time.

I attached a intel SSU report below. Also a vid of the black screen of FC 25 is attached below.. In this case the game managed to load into 2nd half but when I pressed classic then it again crashed.

So the Intel support engineers can have more information about your system, Please download and run the Intel System Support Utility (https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25293/Intel-System-Support-Utility-for-Windows- ) for Windows. Select all data categories and then have it generate a report. Next, have the tool Save the report to a text file (don't try to use the Submit capability; it doesn't work). Finally, using the Drag and drop here or browse files to attach dialog below the edit box for the body of your response post, upload and attach this file to the response post.

Can you share the video procedure. Please attach the video url if possibly available on youtube. Although my windows is 64 bit, it keeps on crashing on my windows. Is it a bug?

It's 2.55 AM here right now. Can you specify what are you exactly struggling with? Is it fc 25 or support utility? I can record a vid and attach it here when i wake up tomorrow!

  • Have you tried disabling ReSize BAR in BIOS to see if stability improves? Some users have reported reduced crashes when doing so.

  • Have you tested other games to see if similar crashes occur?
  • Are there any overlays or background apps running (e.g., Discord, OBS, MSI Afterburner)?

Optional Diagnostic Steps

  • Try launching FC 25 with lower graphics settings (especially shadows, textures, and post-processing) and DirectX 12, as this has shown better stability on Arc GPUs.
  • If possible, test the GPU in another system to rule out hardware-specific issues.

I lowered the settings but didn't work.. The refresh rate remains on 60 HZ no matter what. My monitor is 100 HZ

Driver & Software Behavior :

I reinstalled the whole windows Full Fresh.. Formatted everything. Didnt work

Didn't try resizable Bar.

Troubleshooting Attempts :

No other Games doesn't show this kind of black screen. But Marvel's Spiderman 2 stutters when Ray Tracing turned On..I get it cause I have RYZEN 5 5600x its a pretty low tier cpu..That doesn't bother me

No ...no in game overlay is turned on

Optional Diagnostic Steps :

I tried playing in low Resolution but didn't work..

However when I tried to play in 1600 x 1050 insted of 1920x1080 it did bypass the issue.. But the resolution looks awful.

My friend plays this game on Ryzen integrated graphics no issue at all. I upgraded my pc, before that I had an R9 380.. It ran on low settings but didn't show the black screen at all.

Maximum Users Use Arc B580 with Ryzen 5 5600x in my opinion. Please optimize it for this cpu.

I am reaching out to assist you with the issue you encountered while playing the game. To better understand the problem, could you please clarify whether you noticed any dot artifacts during gameplay or if the game stopped proceeding after halftime, resulting in a black screen?


To help resolve the issue, I recommend installing the latest graphics driver version 32.0.101.6972 (Latest). This update may address any compatibility or performance issues you are experiencing.


Additionally, I would appreciate it if you could provide me with the application and system event viewer logs from your system. These logs will help me identify any error messages that occurred while playing the game. Please follow the steps below to generate and send me the logs:


Application Event Viewer Log:


  1. Right-click on the Start Button.
  2. Click on Event Viewer.
  3. Click on the chevron next to Windows Logs.
  4. Right-click on Application and select "Save All Events As."
  5. Save the file and send me a copy.
  6. Please indicate the timestamp of the crash.


System Event Viewer Log:


  1. Right-click on the Start Button.

Same happened here.. B580 LE.. Black Screen bug when half time / after match / loading to main menu.. So randomly but its there.. And also game performance without resizeable bar really bad in FC 25.. 

 

 

i set NO resize able bar + setting fc25.exe run compatibility windows 8 + play offline pressing X to cancel connecting ea server right before entering main menu. play in career mode more than couple of hours, finish youth tournament many times,  enter interview section, no blackscreen at all.

 

Please intel read this.

Hi sorry for late reply.. Following this problem I reinstalled the game again and again.. So at the 4th time while playing at the lowest possible settings this problem had miraculously eradicated.. I have no idea how and why it worked.. I can Play the game without any complications. Previously i tested all the settings but no outcome.. All of a sudden it works!
