Game crashing on intel arc a770 le gpu

I have experienced game crashing in 3 games. One on valorant.I was playing like regular..suddenly my game crash to windows. Next game is forza horizon 5. After loading screen or after palying sometime, my game crashed to windows. And the last one is far cry 6. Sometime it crashes to windows while loading. And sometime it crashes after playing for 1 or 2min. I have attached the video of crashing far cry 6. Thank you

  • When did the crashing issue start? It's been there since you installed the A770?
  • Did you have another graphics card before you installed the Intel Arc graphics adapter?
  • Which distribution service do you use to install the games? We understand that you may have used different options, but we would like to know the options you used for all three games. (Steam, Epic Games, Microsoft Store, Xbox Store)
  • We would like to if your system is up to date and look at some details about your system environment. Share with us a report using the Intel SSU:
    • Open the application and click "Scan" to see the system and device information. By default, Intel SSU will take you to the "Summary View."
    • Click on the menu where it says: "Summary" to change it to "Detailed View."
    • To save your scan: click on "Next"; and then "Save.

Many users are having game crashing problems on intel arc a770. Please sir fix this issue as soon as possible. I would not buy a intel gpu if I were not an intel fan. But now I am disappointed. But I have faith in intel. Please fix the game crashing issues asap.

Reviewing your system report, we noticed that you have driver 31.0.101.4885; however, there is a new driver version available, 31.0.101.4887. We recommend you update the driver, but before, we recommend you run the Display Driver Uninstaller to eliminate all previous driver residues. Check How to Use the Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) to Uninstall an Intel® Graphics Driver for instructions.

 

However, there is still some information missing, so please provide us with the following:

  • When did the issue start? We would like to check if the issue started after a driver or Operating System update.
  • We want to confirm the game distribution service you used to install the game, to use the same option as you, in case we need to replicate the issue.
  • Did you have another graphics card before the Intel Arc graphics adapter? Having driver files from a third-party graphics card can affect the functionality of the new graphics card.

My latest driver 31.0.101.4887 crashed today with a driver crashing message While playing valorant.

We understand that you have experienced crashing issues in Valorant with the new driver 31.0.101.4887. However, we would like to know if you have been able to run the DDU tool. In case you haven't, you should eliminate all the previous drivers and leftovers with the DDU software.

 

There is some vital information missing that will help us to better assist you and further investigate this matter. Could you please share with us the information we requested before?

 

We also would like to inform you that we recommend reporting one issue per thread to keep things organized. We understand that all the games you have mentioned suffered from a similar crashing problem. However, since they all are different software, the reason behind the crash may be different for each other. We will continue to support the Far Cry 6 crashing issue in this thread. We invite you to open another thread for the Forza Horizon 5 and Valorant. We would like to know if the issue improved when playing Far Cry 6.

However, we would like to request more information about your issue to further look into this matter, so please provide us with the following details:

 

  • Which distribution service do you use to install the Far Cry 6 game? We would like to know the options you used for all three games. (Steam, Epic Games, Microsoft Store, Xbox Store)
  • To discard that the issue is due to a driver regression problem, we want to know if the issue started after a Driver update. If so, let us know the latest working driver version.
  • Did you have another graphics card before you installed the Intel Arc graphics adapter? Sometimes, files from previous graphics cards can cause the new adapter to not work as expected, so we want to discard this possibility.
  • Were you able to discard the run of the DDU tool? Remember that this suggestion is based on the idea that there may be corrupted files from previous driver installations that can affect the new driver and impact system stability
  • Finally, we would like to know if there is anything special that triggers the crashing issue. Maybe the issue is related to a game location or even action. Therefore, we would like to ask if there is a particular step to replicate the problem. You previously mentioned that the issue occurred after playing for some time, but we would like to know if there is anything else you have noticed lately.

i am facing crash in almost all games i played. i cant play games like this.even m discord crash..i have facing crash on cs2, valorant, fr6, fh5 .

do you by chance have hdr enabled?

im seeing crashes as well with hdr enabled on my primary screen.  auto hdr off still games are crashing.

 

turned off hdr and games dont crash

Hello Himel,


We want to let you know that we tried to replicate the issue you described internally; however, we have not been able to replicate your issue. We have been able to play the games without crashing. We invite you to check the following videos of our lab process to see if see that something is missing. It is important to mention that we only recorded the last minutes of gameplay and we played the games for about 15 minutes:


Based on this information we would recommend you to run the Display Driver Uninstaller to eliminate all previous driver leftovers and install the new driver 31.0.101.4952.

This card is **bleep** man.. Now i wont get my money back..Now i am faccing crash on dying light 2. I am facing game crash in every single game. I cant tolerate this..When willl you fix the problem..If you cant solve stop selling the cards. I am using latest driver

Bandit8623 mentioned a similar issue with HDR enabled. Is this related to your issue? Are you using HDR when playing games?


We noticed that you are using the latest driver, but we want to know if you tried running the DDU software. This will help eliminate the possibility of corrupted files from previous driver versions that may still be present in your system. Although we were unable to replicate your issue, we have shared video files for you to review in case you notice anything that we may have missed during our testing.
