Intel Arc B580 : VRAM Overflow in DayZ (VRAM Leak?)

Hello,

I am having trouble in DayZ (Steam). The game will start and work perfectly, but overtime the game will use more and more VRAM until it exceeds the card's capacity and dip into shared memory. The FPS will then proceed to decline, especially in cities. Areas that I had already visited with 200 FPS will now have below 100, down to 30 FPS. This is on official servers as well.

System specs :

CPU : AMD Ryzen 5 7600X 6-Core Processor
RAM : Corsair 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000 CL30
GPU :  Intel ARC B580 LE
MOB : MSI MAG B650 TOMAHAWK WIFI
PSU : Corsair RM750 (750W)
SSD : Kingston NV2 1TB
OS : Windows 11 Home

I have made sure the recommended settings are used (ReBAR, High performance power plan, ASPM Max.) and my current driver is 6874. The PC is a few months old, being built with the B580. BIOS is up to date, as is chipset drivers.

Solutions I have tried :

Uninstalled and reinstalled DayZ
60 FPS limit
Smart VSync/Low Latency Mode
Clean reinstall of windows
Clean install of drivers with DDU
Tested on old driver (6651)
Disabled iGPU in BIOS
Lower game resolution (Still occurs)
Lower in-game graphics (occurs even with all at low)
Windowed mode

I will attach screenshots of my video settings and FPS/Memory usage in official servers.

I've also had the same issue. Took me ages to work out what it was as I didn't believe it could be the brand new GPU that I brought!

I tried reinstall of DayZ, reinstall of game, reinstall of windows, a new SSD.
It wasn't until I found this post I install an old GPU and had absolutely no issues at all.

It seems to happen an hour into game play. My set up is more that capable of running DayZ.

I'm shocked by Intel response and it's a shame that AsRock, an affordable solution, is now going to be tainted, because they are not addressing the issue.

@Nanaki11

Yea, got that card too to be able to play DayZ in 1440p and then this... First I reinstalled my 10 years old quadro 600 and all was good again. So shure blame Bohemia, but if it works with ages old cards...

GG

Cu in game.

Hey, I had the same problem with my Arc A750 and I was able to solve it with the driver.

My specs:
Ryzen 5 5600
32 DDR4 3200Mhz
MSI X570
Arc A750
2 TB NVME
Driver 32.0.101.7028

I play Dayz on modded servers in 4K @ 120Hz.
Settings are between high/med/low – simply put, “PVP settings.”

My average is around 100 fps. After 30 minutes, the VRAM is full.

I've tested a lot and found that changing the internal graphics settings doesn't change anything. When I play Dayz on my second monitor (Full HD 165Hz) with the same settings, I don't get a VRAM problem.

My solution:
ReBar is on
No FrameCap
Low Latency off
and the most important point:
Smooth Sync on!

Smooth Sync is the most important point. My VRAM usage stays at 7.5 - 7.6 GB.

Test time was 4 hours.

I hope this helps you a little.
