Hello,
I have just mounted my freshly bought Intel Arc B580 to my PC. I have been using NVIDAs GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER GAMING 6GB before.
After testing it in few games listed below I have recognized that I got better performance using my older GPU:
- Hearthstone
- Path of Exile 2
- Counter Strike 2
Every game is stuttering and FPS are much lower than while using other GPU f.ex.
CS2: 180 FPS -> 140 FPS
Heartshone: 200 capped FPS -> 120 FPS
Path of Exile 2: 80 FPS -> ~60 FPS
I thought that I'm upgrading my GPU but it looks like it's underperforming in every game.
I have ReBar on, drivers are up to date, BIOS has been updated to the newest version. I actually do not know what to do anymore and it feels like I have wasted a lot of money.
Full spec of my PC:
MOBO: Gigabyte Aorus B550M Elite
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5700G
RAM: 2x 16 GB 3200 MHz LEXAR Thor
GPU: currently Intel Arc B580

Use this driver for now.
Use DDU to uninstall your drivers in safe mode, then install this driver and do not update it until they release a stable driver that is known to be good.
Keep the driver installation file just in case you need to rollback.
Sometimes DX11 runs better then DX12
Sometimes you need to use DXVK (Swaps out direct X to Vulkan, Intel handles Vulkan well)

Unfortunately it did not work. Games are still stuttering and FPS are low.
Also DX12 is performing much better than DX11 and Vulkan.
There is also another issue - I used to watch youtube sometimes while gaming on my 2nd monitor. Now it’s impossible as it causes crashes of my games. I have tried switching web browsers and quality of videos but it also not worked.
Any ideas how to optimise my new Intel card? I have no ideas anymore…

Check to see if your CPU graphics is enabled, if it is, disable it.
If you have old Nvidia drivers, use DDU to get rid of Both Nvidia and Intel drivers (again) and reinstall. (skip if you already did this)
Have you recently updated windows?
Have you recently overclocked/Overvolted your card?
Sometimes the intel cards don't like to play nice. Nvidia and AMD have had YEARS of development for their drivers so they've had fixes for everything all the way up to what's current. Intel is behind due to the lack of graphics card development. Its impressive how far they have come in such a short amount of time.
I know its frustrating at times but these cards physically have potential, they just need proper software and time to simmer.
If all else fails you can reinstall windows or wait for monday for a dev to come help you out. (which is what you should do instead of reinstalling windows for now)

I can't even see support, I'm browsing the forums, many people are complaining about the same problem, I'm thinking of getting rid of my card.
