League of legends "couldnt initialize graphics device"

League of legends is displaying a message "couldn't initialize graphics device" when I go to play a second game after restarting/starting my PC I was wondering if anyone has had similar issues or knows a fix I have tried turning off anti-analysing and turning on resizeable bar.

After reviewing this matter, based on the DxDiag report attach we don't see any issue with Operating System losing DirectX feature level(s) support. Was the report generated after encountering the issue with the game(s) crashing?


Also, we want to add that we are investigating an issue in which the OS will randomly lose DirectX-level support. For more information: https://discordapp.com/channels/554824368740630529/1065928915643813898 (bug ID 14018789847); so we would like to confirm if this is the case for you as well.

Hi Jean this was generated before I encountered the error again.

I believe that I am probably having the same issue with the os randomly loseing directx connection.

On further notice this has been coming up when I attempt to open the discord link although the rest of my discord is working as per usual is there a server I must join first before I can see the conversation?

Hi jean the discord conversation told me to turn off fast boot and I believe I have done that (I will double check after this message and update you if It turns out to be on)

Hey @YasuoTheInter , I also had problems viewing the Discord thread.

Before you can do that you must join the server via https://discord.gg/intel and then go through the verification process of the server. Afterwards this link (and other links to the Intel Discord support community) will work.

Hi always encounter this problem also. There are times that league of legends works smoothly but randomly "could not initialize graphics card" do happen. Attached is a copy of my system summary. Thank you.
