Hello! I haven't seen this problem with anyone, or maybe I having looking thoroughly. My pc starts flashing/flickering, I know is a common problem in different games but what worries me is that it happens on a fresh booting (it doesn't happen in BIOS)
This is my setup
GPU Arc A750 ( I have the last up date)
CPU: Intel core i7-13700KF
Motherboard: ASUS ATX TUF chipset:Z790
I don't know if is not compatible or if a have a wrong setting in my bios, but is getting frustrating sometimes not being able to watch a video or evern turn off my computer ( The weird part is that is not a constant sometimes it work great )

Hi, Blanca1.

I appreciate you for taking some screenshots of your system's full specs. I understand that the system does not always work perfectly. I'm eager to make things right for you. We've previously tried updating the Intel Arc Graphics driver version, deleting all graphics card drivers, and manually installing the newest version for your Arc A750 GPU, however, the problem persists. As a result, I'd like to provide some troubleshooting steps that might help to fix the issue:

  1. Make sure that the operating system is up to date:
    1. Click the Start button.
    2. Search for Windows Update.
    3. Click Check for Updates and run all pertinent updates.
  2. In the case of a multi-monitor setup, check if the issue happens when only one display is attached.
  3. Try different monitors and display cables. Use straight connections with no video adapters/dongles in between.
  4. If the issue is with the VGA cable, use a different video output like HDMI, VGA, or DisplayPort* depending on the motherboard/laptop output options.
  5. Check if the flickering issue happens inside the BIOS configuration screen (To access the BIOS, check with the motherboard/laptop manufacturer).
  6. If the issue happens on the BIOS configuration screen, it could be a processor issue. Try using the processor on a different known working and compatible system (applies only on Intel® boxed processors).
  7. In case you have a laptop and the issue is shown on the BIOS, contact the laptop manufacturer.

For additional troubleshooting steps to fix the black and flickering display, you may refer to the links/articles below:

In line with the SSU report, we can send you private email, since we do not suggest posting any confidential information in our communities because it may be downloaded and used by other community members.

Hi, Blanca1.

Thank you for posting in our Intel communities.

I understand your frustration and how you feel. However, I would like to know if have you made any recent changes to the system/BIOS menu settings, because configuring the BIOS is crucial that uses to start up and run the system. Has the system worked before? Or is this a new issue that you encountered right after you bought it?

Moreover, knowing your processor, GPU, and Chipset is a good start, but I could still use more information about your system configuration. Please run the Intel SSU report and share the results with me so I can verify details such as OS build, driver version, errors logged at the system level, etc.

Looking forward to your response. Have a nice day ahead!

Hello, Von hmm no recently, I change configuration when I started to play Valorant (I dont remember what I change, it was when I just build my pc) the riot vanguard was an issue but I never had a problem playing with Valorant after that, the only issue I had at the beginning was when Baldurs gate was release and I play it, sometimes the screen/display just shuted down and made a horrible sound, like the old console games when they freezed, well something like that, but I just up dated my Arc and I think about that time I installed the REALTEK gaming for baldurs and everything worked fine, until 3 months ago. I'm not sure if this is what you need it

Hello Blanca1,

Thank you so much for the response and for making an effort to share with us the photos of your SSU.

Based on our research, one common reason behind screen flickering is outdated or faulty display drivers.

In regards to that, please follow the troubleshooting steps provided below:

  • Try a clean installation of the Intel® Graphics Driver.
  1. Use Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) to completely uninstall all graphics card drivers. How to use the Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) to uninstall Intel® Graphics Driver.
  2. Manually install the latest version of the graphics driver: Intel® ArcTM and Iris® Xe Graphics (WHQL) for Windows.

If the problems persist, do share your recently created SSU with us. Please provide us with the text file this time.

Thank you, and have a great day ahead!

Best regards,

Hello!, It's me again, unfortunately, It didn't work, I follow the steps for uninstalling the driver and everything and is still flickering :C The driver for the display, It doesn't have a video driver, the only driver that it has is Chroma Tune for Window 11( is an asus proart  PA248QV ) for other models of monitor they do but not for mine, maybe I'm not looking right, but at least in the official website, It doesn't appeared to be. I leave you the text file, I hope that is the correct, sorry for all the back and foward.

Update: I tried playing moster hunter because I could play it two updates I go, but now my monitor started flickering and then "Display signal not found" message appeared

Hello Blanca1,

Thank you so much for the response, and we are sorry to hear that the troubleshooting steps that we have provided did not resolve our issue.

I was unable to find the SSU text file that you shared with us; could you possibly try attaching it or sending it to us again?

Thank you, and have a great day ahead!

Hello, sorry for my late response, I didn't have time to test out the solutions you provide it, and also after a day or two of telling you it didn't work it did not flicker a bit, until know that I'm writting this for you,

I have not presented any issue with the BIOS, so thats good

With a second monitor I have not being able to test it long enough for me to say if is flickering in the other monitor or not (I have a drawing tablet)

I just wanted to thank you, I think the mayor problem is gone, I can play all my games even though now is flickering is doesn't compare on how was before, thank you so much for your time, If something happens again (I hope not) I will be consulting you again

I have a nice day

Hi, Blanca1.

You're very welcome! I'm glad to hear that the major issue seems to be resolved and that you can enjoy your games again. It's great that the BIOS is functioning properly, and hopefully, the flickering will not return. If you need any additional information, please submit a new question as this thread will no longer be monitored.

Have a wonderful day and happy gaming!
