SignalRGB & BreakTimer App Tanks FPS

I'm using an Intel Arc A580. I noticed that when using certain third party apps, like SignalRGB or BreakTimer, my fps goes from a stable 100 fps down to 20 fps or lower. I'm not sure if this is a driver issue or a hardware issue, but for now I've just resigned to uninstalling both of them.

Hello neotel,

Thank you for posting in Intel community Forum.

For me to better understand and diagnose the issue further, let me ask you to provide detailed responses to the following questions. This information will help me isolate the problem and determine the most appropriate course of action moving forward.

  1. Was it working fine before?
  2. If yes, what was the last change made in the system before the issue started?
  3. Let me check, aside from this, are you having other issues with the graphics?
  4. What are the troubleshooting steps that you tried so far?
  5. Have you also tried contacting the developer of the apps to check if the apps are validated with Intel Arc Graphics? It is possible that this is a compatibility issue.

If you have questions, please let us know. Thank you.

Best regards,
