Hi,
I'd like to report certain glitches in SimRail:
- Main menu exit button (top right corner, marked with magenta)
- Menu backgrounds (marked with magenta)
- Rendering of reflections on reflective surfaces when nearing 90 deg (acute angles, also marked with magenta).
I've also posted this issue to SimRail forum - will update here if I manage to cross-reference it with AMD and nVidia users. Although, I haven't seen such problems with 1060 series of cards.
I'm on v 4499 but the bugs persisted on previous versions too.
Overall performance with this title is OK (despite the occasional stuttering and other unpleasant effects that are still in early access and are reported by all users regardless of hardware).

szmigieldesign, Thank you for posting in the Intel® Communities Support.
We are sorry to hear about this issue and we will be more than glad to assist you with this matter.
In order for us to provide the most accurate assistance on this scenario, we just wanted to confirm a few details about your system:
What is the model of your processor?
What is the model of the motherboard?
Is this a new computer?
Was SimRail working fine before on this specific machine under the same configuration that you are currently using?
If yes, when did the issue start?
Did you make any recent hardware/software changes that might cause this problem?
Which Windows* version are you using?
Does the problem happen at home or in the work environment?
Please attach the SSU report so we can verify further details about the components in your platform, check all the options in the report including the one that says "3rd party software logs":

- i5-13600KF.
- TUF GAMING B760-PLUS WIFI D4 / BIOS v1002.
- This is a new PC, professionally built.
- The issue with SimRail I'm referring to is by comparison to my old PC with 1060 3GB where there were no graphical glitches.
- Windows 11 Home 22H2 (22621.1848)
I'll be happy to share the SSU generated report, but I'd rather do it in a non-public way.

Hello szmigieldesign, I just received an update on this matter.
After reviewing this scenario, it is important to mention, that actually this game is still in Early-Access status and based on that, we suggest to get in contact with the game developer directly for further assistance on this subject.
If the developer completes the debug process on the issue and determines the issue is with the Intel driver, in that case, we will proceed forward from our side. Once you get the chance, please let us know the results.
Regards,
Albert R.

Hello,
I've reported this issue to the developers. I'll see if I can learn something and share the information.
BTW
Does XeSS require implementation on a game engine level, or would it be possible to switch on via drivers (i.e. in future updates)?

Hello szmigieldesign, I just received an update on this matter.
In reference to your question, regarding the XeSS implementation, we just wanted to let you know that we can confirm not all games that support Super Sampling can use Xe Super Sampling. Based on that, the game developer also needs to confirm if XeSS is supported and provide additional details about this topic.

Hi, there was no official statement from the dev team. However, they've published just recently that they'll pause monthly releases because they're working on a bigger update that'll consist of an engine update, among other things.
So I believe it's best to wait for another update and see if the problem was fixed.

Hi szmigieldesign, Thank you very much for letting us know about those updates.
Yes, in this case, as you mentioned, to wait for the engine update will be the best thing to do in this scenario in order to confirm if the problem gets fixed after installing it.
Based on that, since there are no further suggestions from our side, we just wanted to check if you agreed for us to close this case? Or, if you need further assistance on this subject, please let us know.

Albert R.
