Hi @Scarface1

Thank you for posting here in our community. To effectively diagnose and address the issue you're experiencing, I kindly ask you to provide detailed responses to the following questions. This information will help us isolate the problem and determine the most appropriate course of action.

  • Please provide the SSU log report and share it here so I can review your system's configuration.
  • Which digital distribution platform did you obtain the game that is experiencing graphics issues? (e.g., Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG, etc.)
  • Have you previously performed a clean installation of the graphics driver, before using either an older or the latest version?
  • Kindly share some screenshots and recordings of your game settings so we can replicate and check the issue on our end using the same settings you use during gameplay.
  • Additionally, you may follow this guide on how to report crashing issues in the game.
  • When did the issue first occur?
  • Have you made any software or hardware changes to the system recently?
  • Have you noticed any signs of overheating in the system?

I look forward to your response and am committed to resolving your issue promptly.

Best regards,

Hi @Scarface1

Please try updating your BIOS to the latest version. You may contact your motherboard manufacturer to check if a new BIOS update is available for your NucBox.

After updating the BIOS, perform a clean installation of the Intel graphics driver and used the latest version: 32.0.101.8135. Once done, observe if there are any improvements.

Looking forward to your response.

Best regards,

GMKtec said there's no bios update for the k8 plus. I've already asked them if there was one.

Hi @Scarface1

I'm glad to hear that the system has stabilized after updating both the operating system and graphics driver to their latest versions.

While this setup appears to be working for now, please note that Intel® Arc™ Discrete Graphics Cards are not officially supported in eGPU configurations. According to the Intel® Arc™ Graphics – Desktop Quick Start Guide, using an eGPU dock may result in limited functionality or intermittent issues. Although it may work to some extent, this configuration is not guaranteed to support all features and may lead to future instability.

For now, since the issue has been resolved, could you please confirm whether you need any further assistance or have additional questions or clarifications?

If not, I’ll proceed to close this thread with your permission.

Best regards,
