In the game “The thaumaturge”, the game becomes very laggy when playing the instructional video, even with XESS enabled, and I've found that playing any game with a browser or standalone player playing the video in the background results in varying degrees of lag. It seems to have something to do with the driver's video decoding.

2. Did you make any recent changes to the system?
3. Have you performed any troubleshooting steps?
4. If possible, kindly share a short video clip of the issue.
Additionally, to have a better understanding of your system configuration and components please generate System Support Utility (SSU) report. Please follow instructions here and send the report - How to get the Intel® System Support Utility Logs on Windows*
