When I run a 3D benchmark, it comes out as good as the RXT 4060, but Monster Hunter Wilds only comes out half as good. This needs to be fixed quickly.
While there aren't many ways to significantly boost your FPS, you could try adjusting the graphics settings to a higher level. This won’t increase your FPS, but it will improve the visual quality without sacrificing performance, as your GPU is mostly waiting on the CPU. You're most likely CPU bound.
Make sure you're using the latest Intel drivers for the A770. To rule out that the issue is specific to Monster Hunter: Wilds, it could be useful to test the A770 in other games to see if the performance issue persists across different titles.
I own two PCs: one with an Intel Core i5-13400F + Arc B580 GPU, and another with an Intel Core i5-12600KF + Arc A770 GPU. The A770 system exhibits identical performance issues as described previously, while the B580 system shows significant frame rate improvements. Notably:
The i5-13400F (B580 system) is technically inferior to the i5-12600KF (A770 system), ruling out CPU bottlenecks.
Both systems use the latest driver version 6632.
The A770’s performance falls below even the NVIDIA RTX 3050 8GB variant, indicating severe compatibility or optimization flaws.
This stark disparity highlights unresolved issues specific to the Arc A770 in this title, unrelated to hardware limitations or driver versions.
