Warframe DX12 Stuttering

Hi,

This will be my second post here, but I'm having issues with Warframe where I'll be getting good fps, but my game is stuttering heavily and my 1% lows are often a third or less of my average frames, leaving the game just feeling absolutely sloppy and terrible.

I will post my SSU log, my latest 60 second CapFrameX log, screenshots of my graphics settings, and my current tuning settings. Hopefully it will help.

The CapframeX log has been compressed into a .7z file due to the restrictions of the forum.

Hello Jed,

After Updating my BIOS to the latest version, doing a clean install of the drivers using DDU, and making sure rebar was enabled, none of them worked.

I did find something that worked, however. After switching Warframe back to the DirectX11 Branch, the game ran flawlessly.

I don't know what you guys did with the latest driver, but DX11 games have been running smoother. And to that, I thank you guys.

All I need now is OpenGL support, specifically so I can get back to playing Minecraft Java Edition.

Cheers and thanks for all the help,

Luna

Hello Argent_Moon,

Thank you for sharing as much information as you could. Your input is greatly appreciated and will certainly aid in identifying a resolution to the stuttering issue you’re experiencing with Warframe.

To proceed with a more thorough investigation, may I kindly request that you provide the following additional details:

1. May I kindly ask if the issue you’re encountering is exclusive to Warframe, or have you observed similar behavior with other game titles as well?

2. Was the game working fine before?

3. When does the stuttering occur most?

4. Kindly also get another CapFrameX log and ensure that you play the game for at least 3 minutes to allow us to gather sufficient performance data for analysis.

I look forward to your response.

Best regards

Hi Jed!

Yes, This issue is exclusive to Warframe, as no other game in my library is having this issue. I also forgot to add in my previous message that I am running the DirectX 12 Branch of the game.

Ever since I Swapped to my Arc B580, Warframe has just had problem after problem with stuttering. The fps numbers are fine in of itself, but the 1% lows and the stuttering are killing the gaming experience for me.

Honestly, the stuttering happens everywhere for me. It has gotten a BIT better since Yesterday's WHQL driver update (31.0.101.8132), but the stuttering is still very much present in the game.

I am also providing another log for you. This one is 3 minutes long, and packaged in .7z due to .json files not being accepted here on the forums. It will need to be unpacked before being able to be used.

Thank you so much for the help,

Luna
