Would it be crazy to ask intel if they could release low and mid end gpus with a VGA and DVI port for people that use CRT monitors? i think that would be awesome because otherwise people with CRT's need to rely on Integrated Graphics.

Because it is a step backwards,  and there are already adapters to accomplish what you want.

Not really, not a step backwards and lcd's are certainly not a step forward, its more about trade-offs , adapters introduce input lag and make the image blurry, crt has no input lag, very deep blacks, top tier motion clarity and can achieve high refresh rates easily.

Moreover, they're extremely cheap outside of first world countries, could be a good option for low end gpus.

Definitely a step backwards.   Can you go to newegg or microcenter or best buy, and get a new CRT?  Can you buy a new CRT television?   Why?  Because they are history.  They are gone.  They are obsolete.  They are an albatross.  The list of issues with CRTs is too long to discuss.

See if you can get nvidia or AMD to provide such ports.

Time for you to take your silly debate somewhere else.
