Insufficient fps while playing cs2 game
The average fps I get while playing the game in 1980 resolution is 170-180 Low setting
The average fps I get while playing the game in 1024 resolution is 170-190 Low setting
Many people like me play the game in 4/3 resolution like cs2 and there is almost no fps difference, I was expecting the fps to increase when the resolution drops and I saw that I am not the only one experiencing this problem, there is another problem, there can be instant fps drops in the game, for example I see 230 but it drops to 110 fps. I am waiting for your help on this issue.
not: The FPS change is almost negligible at high and low settings. When I look at the bottleneck problem, I don't see a bottleneck because the graphics card usage is high and the processor is low.

Hello! Related to this comment, I fresh installed Windows 11 in my test system, and only installed the game and tools needed. DDU each of the drivers for the cards tested.
I captured the below data after the 3rd run on each driver. I tested on "Train", practice, deathmatch, for the entire 10 minutes. Same graphics settings every time (Preset Low with Fidelity FX disabled).
i5 13400
32 GB RAM
Win11
In general, results may vary from run to run in both cards. No 2 runs are exactly the same. (Captures taken in the 3rd run after DDU just to be sure all shaders are loaded).
As you can see, the average framerate is within a 10% delta and lows are better in the B580 for these set of captures. The behavior described (FPS dips) are not necessarily related to our driver since it is also seen in the other card. CapframeX also recorded more stuttering in the other card. For the time being there are no specific improvements in plan for this title.
This doesn't look like a driver issue but the expected behavior since this is a CPU intensive title. I know these are not the news you were expecting but there are no actionable data to pursue a fix right now. Thus we will have to close this report. On the other hand, since this is such a popular title, is always under our radar. Rest assure that if something comes up in the future, either reported by you or other users, we will look into it.

Hello b580,
Thank you for reaching out! I understand that you are encountering the frustration of not achieving the expected FPS when lowering your settings in CS2.
To better understand the issue being encountered, please answer the following questions:
- What is the manufacturer of your Intel B580? (For example, Gunnir, Asrock, etc)
- What is your current power plan?
- Do you encounter this issue with FPS on other games?
- Was the issue persistent from the previous drivers as well?
- Does the FPS drop occur in specific scenarios or is it random?
- If possible, can you provide a CapFrame X Log while playing the game? Please see Need help? Reporting a bug or issue with Arc GPU? for further instructions.
Please generate an SSU report to help me further analyze important details on your system. To generate the SSU report, please refer to the article: How to get the Intel® System Support Utility Logs on Windows*. Please send us the generated SSU.txt file.
I look forward to your response!
Best Regards,

I hope a solution emerges. I won't regret buying it
After doing some more research, I think the processor is causing a bottleneck. I hope this will go away with the new updates. Thank you for your help.

Hey, for best performance in cs2:
On ingame settings choose prefer performance cores.
On bios disable hyper threading.
Disable steam overlay, discord overlay and any kind of background program that can use cpu.
I think those are the best settings and can have impact on your FPS.
Most games can use limited number of cores so you will never get full cpu usage and processors with high single thread performance will always have better performance. Even you are bottlenecked by your cpu you will never get %100 cpu usage because most of engines can't use all of your cores efficiently.

Hello. I have the same issue in CS2 as well, down to 80 FPS in some maps, consistently.
Just like b580 mentioned, I also have issues in PUBG, especially if I play in Borderless and with DirectX11 Enhanced enabled. As soon as I look towards any city in the game, whether I can see it or not, the FPS drops from 160-180 to 60 ish. Only way to remedy it, is playing the game in Fullscreen (and DX12), which gets pretty annoying with a multi monitor setup. Most solutions from searching have been tried, to no avail
Specs -
Motherboard: ASUS Rog Strix B550-F
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800x
Memory: G.Skill TridentZ Neo 32GB DDR4 3600 MHz
NVMe: Sabrent Rocket 1TB PCIE4.
I have the Sparkle Arc B580 Titan OC Edition.
Last couple of driver updates have not resolved it.

Hello all,
Sorry for not posting news in a while. We have been receiving a variety of contradicting reports: B580 low perf against A-series, B580 low perf against other brands GPUs, A-series low perf against B-series, and some tests have resulted in "no repro" which is weird.
I will be running a new set of tests between A-Series (A750 and A770), B580, and competitors GPUs with three graphics settings (Low, recommended and a custom setting) with a benchmark map and file new internal ticket(s) for the perf issues detected.

I can't even see support, I'm browsing the forums, many people are complaining about the same problem, I'm thinking of getting rid of my card.

Hi again,
I’ve tried the suggested settings, but unfortunately, the issues still persist. Specifically, when playing at 4:3 resolution and 1080p:
I still experience FPS drops (e.g. from 200 down to 80 suddenly),
There is noticeable microstuttering,
I want to use FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR) because when FSR is enabled, the image quality improves, but when FSR is disabled, the game becomes pixelated and blurry.
My system specs:
i5-14400F
Intel Arc B580
32 GB RAM
Resizable BAR is enabled
Driver version: 32.0.101.6734
Currently, when I enable FSR, the image quality improves but performance drops. When I disable FSR, the game becomes pixelated and blurry. Is this a known optimization issue with the Arc b580 in CS2?
I’d really appreciate any further guidance. Thank you!

The results shown above are with 1080p, 16:9.
It is expected that FidelityFX improves the image quality at the cost of some performance drop, but it shouldn't be that much.
To your question, this is not an optimization issue since the performance is similar to other manufacturer's GPU under the same conditions, as shown above.
My only advice for the time being is to make sure you keep your drivers up to date.
