pasted from previous thread as i have tried the same steps with the same results:
Hi There,
I've just picked up early access to Le Mans Ultimate via Steam. Game won't progress past the initial loading screen, which appears to be an issue with ARC graphics cards. A number of users are having similar issues. Have tried:
Loading from Steam
Loading from .exe directly
Loading from .exe directly as an administrator
Uninstall and reinstall
Disable Windows Defender
Installing to different SSD (don't have a traditional HDD to try)
Validating install via Steam
Ensuring all drivers are up to date
Closing all non-essential programs
When attempting to load from steam:
Click Play
Play button turns blue and shows "Cancel"
Studio 397 logo flashes
Small window with Le Mans Ultimate V0.4000 in header bar opens
Small window with Le Mans Ultimate V0.4000 closes 1-2 seconds later
Blue "Cancel" button in Steam turns green, showing "Play" again
Same thing happens when loading directly from the .exe, except it does not trigger the Steam button.
I don't run an antivirus other than Windows Defender
No performance monitors such as Afterburner or Riva Tuner installed
No performance enhancements or overclocking of graphics card.
Computer specs:
Intel I7-13700k
Intel Arc A750
MSI mortar B760M
32Gb corsair RAM
Windows 11

Hello Brian81,
Thank you for the update.
Let me gather additional details for me to check this issue with our Engineers since you mentioned that there is no issue with other games.
- How long before the game would crash?
- Are you getting high temperature for the Graphics?
- Please help generate the SSU logs of your system. Kindly refer to the link below on how to get the logs:

1. the game crashes at 100% load in the loading screen, regardless of how long I have played.
2. Temperature of the card is normal, idle 40c and whilst under intensive loads it reaches 75c
3. I will get the SSU done tomorrow and report back!

Hey I am also having this same problem. On the Le Mans ultimate forums people are also looking into it. It seems like a problem with only ARC gpus. I have a a770 8gb and whenever I would try load into a game it would go to 100% and then crash. I’ve been trying to figure out ways to make it not crash and have been a little successful. What I did was just change the games compatibility like to windows vista, although it helped loading into sessions, it was extremely inconsistent and would crash a lot still. Another thing to try is turning off in game mirrors. It might be weird but for some reason it does help. This is the forum. https://community.lemansultimate.com/index.php?threads/unable-to-play-all-races-crash-at-100-loading-arc-card.6054/

Hello Brian81,
Thank you for the update.
Upon reviewing the SSU, the Graphics driver installed is 32.0.101.6559.
We have released a new driver which is version 32.0.101.6632. Please try this one first and if you are still having the same issue, please help generate a new set of SSU logs:

I have this new driver version and I am sure it does not change anything. I had it for like 2 days already and the game still crashes on 100%. This might be a game problem where the ARC gpu aren’t really good. But using this new driver does not change anything. (Will post ssu soon)

Do you have your audio headset plugged into the front panel jack on your computer?
I know it sounds like a weird question but I had the same issue with Rfactor2 and I could not believe the solution.
The game would initialize and on the track loading screen, go to 100%. It'd then close automatically.
It'd do it every single time.
One of the guys from the Studio397 forum told me to plug the headphones into the rear jack on the PC.
It has not auto-closed since.
I still don't get why that fixed the issue. I cannot see the reasoning but it worked.

It has to be a non-usb headphone. Regular jack.
Try that...even if earbud style.

Hello Brian81,
I hope this message finds you well.
To further help us in investigating this issue, kindly help check and provide a feedback on the following steps:
- When the game crashes, does any error message appear on the screen? If so, please provide the details.
- If possible, review the Event Viewer logs. Look under "Application" and "System" to see if there are any error messages related to the graphics card or the game.
- If you find any error messages, please extract the application and system logs and share them with us.
- For the crashing issue, please follow the steps outlined under "Crashing/Freezing Issues/BSOD" and share the resulting file with us.
- I just want to inform you that we are requesting this information to replicate the issue and determine whether it is related to the graphics card or other software components causing the crash. Also, let me ask if you used DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) when installing the drivers.

Hi Mike,
I will send these over tomorrow. I had to reset my PC after that recent driver update due to stuttering issues, which i thought was windows' fault. I clean installed an old set of drivers and the PC seems to be stutter free for now.

I have a solution that fixes it temporally because I just finished a sebring daily race and won by 8.5 seconds. What I did was, disable mirrors, put windows compatibly mode to windows 7, put game priority on lowest, (don't know if this works or helps most likely doesn't, only did one race) in steams launch options I made the game dx11. (still crashes but and open the game from steam) Hope this helps!
