Cannot find metrics monitor in the toolkits

I'm using OpenVINO 2020.3LTS on Ubuntu18.04 and have been following the tutorial on youtube which is based on 2018R5. And I cannot find where the metrics monitor in the folder mediasdk. I tried to execute the script "install_media.sh" but I get the following message:

INFO... Install on Ubuntu ...
Error... Cannot find installation content directory!

Please help!

Thanks for reaching out.

MediaSDK is installed by default along with the OpenVINO installation and no need to run install_media.sh script. In the latest release, you can found the sample under : /opt/intel/mediasdk/share/mfx/samples/_bin

 

Note: This sample needs to be run as sudo (sudo su) and Ubuntu Kernel 4.16+

 

You can follow this video: How to Run Metrics-monitor in One Terminal | OpenVINO™ toolkit | Ep. 56 | Intel Software and use the sample directory mentioned above.
