Increase speed of TrackerMIL

How to increase the speed of tracking an object using TrackerMIL. It takes a very large amount of time to track an object using TrackerMIL frame by frame. Is there any way to make it a bit faster?

For your information, TrackerMIL was designed as a robust solution in object tracking. As such, it has relatively low speed in tracking but is more robust to noise and shows fairly good accuracy.

Reducing the resolution of the video source might help in speeding up the tracking process but this will result in loss of details and as such may fail the tracking.
