OpenVINO releases for Ubuntu 2022.04

Hi!

We are currently working on a project with a 12th generation Intel CPU (Alder Lake, which should be supported by OpenVINO) and we wish to execute inference with it. Also, we are working with Ubuntu 2022.04 which we know is not yet supported by OpenVINO.

Since Alder Lake requires Ubuntu 2022.04, we are unable to install OpenVINO on our system.

Do you know any workaround for this? Also, do you have an estimate for the next release that should support Ubuntu 2022.04?

Thank you for your time,

Stephan

Hi Stephan,

Thanks for reaching out.

As for now, OpenVIN0 2022.1 version only supports Ubuntu* 18.04 long-term support (LTS), 64-bit - Supported with limitations*and Ubuntu* 20.04 long-term support (LTS), 64-bit.

As for Ubuntu 22.04, our development team is currently working to enable it in future releases.

You can always refer to the Release Notes for new features enablement and supportabilities.

Regards,

Aznie
