License issue for Quartus Prime 18.1.1

I had a license for Quartus Prime 18.1.1 after purchasing an ArriaV dev kit on Oct 2019. It was working until the computer restarted. I have provided the same license file in Licesne setup. But Quartus shows license error.

I tried the License diagnsostic tool in intel website, it asked to make a certain Windows registry setting. Still it did not work.

Help is greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Hello

Welcome to INTEL forum. To narrow down this issue, can you please provide me the latest of the following?

2) Machine OS information

3) license.dat file

You can also reply/attach your file in private message.

Thanks for update. Could you re confirm your license setup again and you can refer to how to setup video below,

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ob9ei5lMgGE

You can also refer on how to do license setup.

To set up a fixed license file (single user, single computer), follow these steps:

1.Make a backup copy of any existing license.dat file for reference.

2.Save the license.dat file (that was attached to the licensing email you received) on your local hard drive.

Store the license.dat file in a directory named C:\licenses\flexlm (Windows) or /usr/local/flexlm/licenses (Linux).

When you specify the license file location, use only alphanumeric characters and do not type any special characters or symbols, such as !$%^&*<>, empty spaces, or non-English characters in the license file directory name. Special characters may invalidate the license file location.

3.Use one of the following methods to specify your license:

Specify the license within the Quartus® Prime software.

Specify the license file using an environment variable.

I would like to reconfirm that the license setup is ok. Additionally I renamed the file to license.dat Placed it in C:\licenses\flexlm<file:///C:/licenses/flexlm> Referred to the path of license.dat in the Tools-->License setup After this step Quartus does not seem to parse the license file and list the info given in the file.
