Graphic Editor

Hi,

I have installed MAX+PLUS II Baseline.

I got licence.dat file from Altera support. I put this licence.dat file in the root directory of MAX+PLUS II software.

I opened MAX+PLUS II software, I choose File-->New, pop up window appear, I select Graphic Editor, then OK. I got th emessage:

"Current license file support does not include the 'Graphic Editor' application or feature."

Do you know why is this error apeared and where licence.dat file needs to be put, in which directory.

I would apprecite your promt reply.

Hi,

The error means that the MAX+PLUS II software cannot find your license file.

Make sure your license.dat file is saved in the MAX+PLUS II BASELINE software installation directory. Then do the following steps:

  1. At the Options menu, choose License Setup.
  2. Specify the license file by clicking Browse. In the Directories box, go to the directory where your license.dat file is located, select the license.dat file in the Files Box, and click OK.
  3. If you look at the Available Features box, it should contain Graphic Editor.
  4. Click OK to save your changes.

Let me know if this helped.

Regards,

Nurina
