NoC based MPSoC development

Hello,

this is my first post here.

I'm a student, I'm working on my thesis.

As part of it, I have to realize - on an FPGA - a multiprocessor system with the cores connected using a NoC.

I found on the website some informations on the Qsys tool and I'm planning to use it to interconnect the Nios II soft cores.

The second part of the thesis foresees to place each soft core on an FPGA and to interconnect them together.

Because i have to choose which board to use for the development, I was studying the DE2-115 (better I/O, maybe more useful for the second part) and the DE1.

Can you help me to choose?

Thank you! :)
