Using the SD Card IP in Platform Designer

I currently have Quartus version 18.1 downloaded and I want to use the SD card IP core that is apart of the Altera University Program to interact with the micro SD card on my DE0 CV Development Board. Unfortunately, I do not see this IP core under University Program > Memory in the IP catalog. However, when I look in the IP folder I see the IP core. Is there a .qsys file for the SD card IP core so I can use it in the Platform Designer and if so how do I get to it?

Hi,

Upon checking, the University Program SD Card IP core has been deprecated and removed from Quartus. It should not be used.

Thanks.

What is the next best thing to do if I am unable to use this IP core? I really need this to be able to do read and writes for my micro SD card.

Hi,

In this case, you have to use the older version of the software that supports this IP.

Thanks.

Nope, downloading a previous version of Quartus solved this issue. Thank you for your help.
