Calling C thread from Intel Fortran program/thread

Just learning how to use Intel Fortran and the .NET environment, and I need to know how in the world to call a C thread from an Intel Fortran program/thread. No OpenMP parallelism involved, we only have one processor.
Thanks for any help you can provide.

I'm not sure what you mean by "call a thread". You can call a C routine. Can you restate the question with more detail? In particular, what aspect of threads do you think is relevant here?

I think you will need to do all your Windows thread management in the C functions. If you have questions specifically about threading, they might fit better in the Threading for Intel... forum even though you don't run on aparallel architecture. It's good to consider parallel architectures anyway, as you don't want your application to break when it goes on a HyperThreaded processor, for example.

There's no problem doing thread management in Fortran. But threads are not things that are called - they are created, yes.
