IVF 9.1 Windows XP/Windows 2003 Server

I have a current version of IVF compiler 9.1 for use on a Windows XP operating system. I'm buying servers for process control applications with Windows 2003 Server operating systems and your Intel Core Duo processor technology.

If I build and compile applications ( like DLLs ) on my Windows XP PC, will they execute on the 2003 Server Op sys server?

I have the professional edition of IVF Compiler. Will the IMSL libraries installed on the Windows XP PC also work on the Windows 2003 Server Op Sys server?

Thank you.

Yes all around. You may have to bring along some of the compiler DLLs along with your own and place them in a folder included in the PATH environment variable.

My company wouldn't allow me to upgrade my xp to XP64 bit OSwhich can utilize the 4GB memory and handle larger size of virtual memory. Will Windows 2003 Server 64 bit OS have similar functionality as xp 64 bit OS, I mean maximizing the physical memory usage up to 4 GB and large virtual memory capability.

I know XP 64 bit OS can handle 4GB memory, just want to make sure Windows 2003 Server 64 bit can do it too.

Thanks.

Yes, Windows Server 2003 x64 will do the same for you. Just make sure you don't get the one for Itanium processors.
