If I have several users who want to compile using "Intel Visual Fortran Composer XE 2011
for Windows" on a MS Windows Server 2003R2 (to be upgraded to MS Windows Server 2008R2 in the future) computer that they access via Remote Desktop Connection, what are all of the compiler licence options that will work? I see that my choices are:

Can I use a "Single User" licence for different users connecting via RDC (with the understanding that only one person can compile at a time)?
Thanks.

We permit use of the compiler via remote desktop/terminal server, but each developer should have their own license. You may want to consider use of floating licenses as an alternative.

Understood.
According to your website, the options for a small shop like ours which compiles very infrequently are either a 2-floating or a 5-floating license pack. Could I get two 1-floating licenses for the same price as a 2-floating license pack? For redundancy sake, I'd like to have two separate license servers - each serving 1-floating license (instead of a single server serving 2-floating licenses).

We don't sell individual floating licenses - sorry.

Bummer.
Is there a way to have a 2-floating license pack with redundant license servers so that if one is down, the "backup" handles the license serving in the meantime?

Yes - you actually have to have three servers, at least two of which must be reachable. See this for more info.
