I am having some problems with the installation of the Intel Fortran Compiler 9.0 for Windows and MS Visual Studio 2005.
MS Visual Studio was installed first by my network administrator.
Then I installed IVF 9.0 and the IVF Integration with MS Visual Studio
When I open MS Visual Studio, Fortran 90 is not listed as one of the choices for a sample source code file that I wanted to create.
Also when I try to create the environment variables: "Start"-->"All Programs"-->"Intel Software Development Tools"-->"Intel Fortran Compiler 9.0"-->"Build Environment for IA-32 Applications". Then I get the following screen the dos window with the message "The system can not find the path specified"
Also when I issue the command "ifort int_sin.f90" from the directory "C:\Program Files\Intel\Compiler\Fortran\9.0\Docs\samples" I get the message "could not find "\Bin" "
Please le me know what I might be doing wrong. I did the installation before with MS Visual Studio 2003 and it went very smooth.

It does sound as if Fortran did not get correctly or completely installed as not even the command line support is there. I suggest uninstalling and reinstalling and paying attention to any error messages.
Is there a reason you are not using a current version?

I did repeat the installation and it seems the problem is that the Insaller for IFC 9.0 does not find Microsfot Visual C++ that comes with MS Visual Studio 2005 already installed on my PC. I get a message indicating so from the Installer. Not sure how to get around this point.
I have a license for 9.0 but not for 10.x IFC. In the future we'll get anotherlicense for version 10.x but it will be good to make it work with 9.0 for now.

I could not find any IVF licenses associated with your name in our Registration Center, therefore, I cannot determine if your IVF license expired after our initial 9.1 release in April 2006. If your license expired after that date, then you could consider obtaining a IVF 9.1 Release and trying that.
